Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services at Hygiea (Daya Memorial Hospital) started way back in 1989 and till to date have conducted successful normal deliveries to the tune of approximately one thousand five hundred live births by NVD and Caesarean sections besides providing antenatal and post natal care to thousands of patients effectively and efficiently. The first Gynaecologist/ Obstetrician was Dr. PoonamKhanna who had done her MD OBGY from Safdarjung Hospital and thereafter Dr. Anita Bhardwaj, followed by Dr. ShubhaSaxena and at present we have with us Dr. DeepikaLoganey and Dr. PoonamKirtani.

Dr. DeepikaLoganey joined this institution in 1997-98 and has done an excellent work for the past 20 years. The profile in brief for Dr. Deepika and Dr. Poonam is under process and shall be sent in due course.
